Hi guys,

Finally get to pick up my falcon tomorrow. The car made 370rwkw and we've saved 2 tunes. The 2 Tunes being 365rwkw and 310rwkw. Have drove the car stock for 6months before modifying but Im just wondering what to expect on the 310rwkw tune. Will it be easy enough to drive and keep in a straight line? I dont want to write the thing off. Mainly built it for track days and a bit of drag racing fun hence having the 310rwkw street tune. Your opinion is much apprecitated

310 is great for the street, I ran around on 300 for six months now running 385rwkw, the 300 was so easy to live with and this still is to but 300 was much more streetable as far as traction goes... Hope u have enough self control to stay away from the big tune day to day, if so your a better man than I, lol, youl love it

should drive like a normal car but a bit sharper

mine does not make that much power, but drives like a factory stock car, except goes harder when you press the go pedal and does 11.6 1/4 with traction

traction is not just a function of how much power and your tyre quality, but power delivery and torque reductions

my car has a ZF tune, with ZF tune it will smoke the tyres all the time at any speed below 80km/h in dry good conditions and once moving under WOT that's it

but im running the factory transmission tune in it, and its actually quicker 0-100km/h than it is with the ZF tune, will still spin through 1-2 but much less, rolling it just hammers, and on better days with good traction no wheelspin and back to back testing proves its considerably quicker to a fixed number such as 0-100km/h

now on the track with radials its reversed, but in reality daily driving its great at about 300-310rwkw with factory ZF tune

I hope so, I was so keen to get everything done but I was then told by a few other blokes the 310rwkw is gonna be tail happy in a manual. I just wanted to get used to the smaller tune before going to the bigger tune

With decent tiers either tune is good on the street, back when I had 362rwkw I could get grip from 2nd gear onwards. Just take it easy at the start until you get use to it, then when you do you'll wanna go for more lol
