I am having the exact same problem, it has all started since I replaced one of the coils that was shot. My 4 spd is a rebuilt auto, so im not sure what to do. This is the worst problem because when it happens, sometimes the car suddenly drops gears and car even skids abit... any advice would be great...

what was the problem as I am assuming that 2 years on u have fixed it lol

That person hasn't come back to say the fixed it. The original person with the problem got a new ecu and that fixed it.

Oh my lord hello everyone

I'm so sorry I never got back to this post as when I got her fixed I was so happy I simply just forgot about this

to this day I'm still getting messages and phone calls and yes  she was fixed up and it was the ECU 100% had it

so a new ECU was purchased

Put her on a truck and sent her to Hire ford to dial the codes back in and get her running again

I did sell her after all the drama and she is still running perfectly with her new owners

regards Robyn
