Doesn't help when the gubbyment have their heads stuck in sand and will profess at every opportunity how wonderful everything is, when underneath the surface it's most definitely not.

The government has its head some where else I think. Cause were losing 500 jobs just from the department I work in. They say its a 20% cut across the board for all fedral government departments. Going to be few thousands out of work.

Will be interesting what the government does with its surplus now so many people will be needing a hand finding employment.

Since the GFC China has thrown more than a UStrillion into their economy buiding infrastructure and ghost cities that they dont need. China will keep on stimulating because if they dont there will be much political unrest. Australia is the beneficiary but there is an end game. The same way you cant help an alcoholic by giving them more alcohol, you cant help a world with too much debt by creating more debt. There is an end game with this model and its going to be bad IMO. Governments are printing too much money and there will come a time when people lose faith in paper money. This is when this ponzi scheme ends.

This is when this ponzi scheme ends.

You see this is just what I dont get, call me dimwitted but the world has been around for a fair bit why the fck is it all coming to a head right at this point in time and whats going to happen when the dust settles?

We start over again?....on a meteoric rise to a cataclismic down fall....

Go where the demand is .. change jobs/ change states but do what is best for YOUR own future..

FIFO isn't everyones cup of tea but if you play your cards right, it can set you up for a decent future no matter how bleak the doomsayers are predicting ?

My 2c...

What a legend lol. Well said!

Lol dazzler, and that's the thing, people expect everything to come to them. At no cost and don't want to change much at all. I agree big on what you say, it's your future, you have to change to make it best for yourself. They just expect every damn thing for free. Life aint that easy! If only..lol
