Are standard Ford coils the way to go? judgee New Member 23 Member For: 14y 6m Posted 03/05/12 10:00 AM Author Share Posted 03/05/12 10:00 AM I obviously pulled them out when I did the plugs a few weeks ago and they looked in good nick. Do you think there is a coincidence that I have recently pulled the plugs and the coils are now dying or could I have not put one back on properly. How sensitive are they Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/79964-limp-mode-under-acceleration/page/2/#findComment-1231280 Share on other sites

Mine was doing the same thing, bought a set of genuine coils off eBay, whacked them in and it was all fixed. Coils in it looked fine but must of been shot internally.
