Hi mate, my car was reaching 75 degrees on my gauge at night cruising in 4th, which would just sit a point of 1/4 I think once I reach those temps it would put it in cold start mode or something like that, anyways with the 71 degree thermostat my car when driving normal in traffic or even cruising during the day would sit in the areas of 96 to 103 degrees which would be the coolant temps that the tuner would be getting while on the dyno as well, an when my car are at those temps you can actually feel it, its real slugish. I think its to high, so what I did now is change the thermostat to a 82 degree an put in a new radiator so I wouldnt have to be worrying about blockages or my cooling system anymore,if needed il get the tuner to adjust the fans. Im sure the coolant side of things will be fine for me now, I just now have to figure out why my inlet air temps rise so high for. Mr_4.0 Member 1,096 Member For: 14y 3m 11d Posted 03/05/12 03:33 AM Share Posted 03/05/12 03:33 AM The map sensor is what reads intake air temp as well as boost etc as far as I know. So if it read the same on both coolers, it could be a dead sensor. Temp sensors fail all the time.
