That could have been from the head lifting under boost, spewing coolant into the cylinders and maybe hydraulic the engine but who knows? I just know that Daves motor took everything and more and kept on going for ages which is insane but he is the tuner of his car as is Danny...

Ok I did some digging and I was way off dave only ran 430rwkw when he ran the stock motor to a 9.9 and this is what they picked up off the track when it let go post-4295-1246870229_thumb.jpg

Whats wrong with that, ford told me those parts were in serviceable condition!

Anyway...I think he may have been telling furfies about it only being 430rwkw! More in the 500's me thinks...

yea remember that is 430kw threw a 3grand stall and c4 and im pretty sure his dyno read a touch low back in the day, with a few different conditions it may well have made closer to 500kw

sold his old ba a few years ago and now hes got a new f6, when I say new its a few years old with about 10xxxkm on it, think its making 380ish rwkw hes run it a few times into the 11s but nothing too serious, hes got another turbo their to go on it but its nothing fancy... I think hes happy just helping others out atm
