My young fella has just bought a FG Mk2 Ute and needs some seat covers coz he's a tradie.

Had a look around but need something that wont interfere with the side air bags. Weve looked at the genuine ford ones but they dont cover the seat back bolsters and cant find any decent pictures of wot they actually look like fitted.

If anyone has any fotos of these I would appreciate it. Also if anyone can recommend some after market covers.

We bought some yesterday from AutoBarn but they were sh*t even though they cost $200.

Thanks in advance guys

I think the way to go is to source some snap on covers although they will have to be adjusted all the time. Leave enough room for the side airbags and look awesome. All the fitted ones look like your grandpa owns the car.

hard with the side air bags. I'd just run one of the throw overs which you can put through the w/machine. not air bag compliant however.

Throwovers cover the side airbags though which could be problematic if you have an accident. The snap on ones only go over the headrest and the bottom leaving the sides clear. Buying them though is a PITA if you don't know anyone. Group buy someone?

Ive got an SP one. Same as the snap on ones but cheaper to buy an dont have to chase down the snap on man. Goes on when im dirty and comes off when im clean so you dont end up dirtying your clean clothes.

Alot of auto & tool stores stock SP tools. If they don't have them in stock just ask about them - slip on seat covers

hey buds,my little brother is a trimmer here in melbourne and his freind just bought a 2010 xr6t but had cloth trim,he asked my younger brother to trim the original seats,so instead of spending a sh@# load of cash retrimming them in leather my bro got him seat covers that fit better then stock seats..I I will get my brother to take photos of the end result.he insistead on retaining the orignal black with white stitching as his car came out with that colour concept in cloth. Please note that you would need a trimmer to fit the seat covers on and remove your old and original seat covers.the come with all the air bag labels and will not affect the existing airbag at all.
