Ok brace yourself for a dumb question... lol!!

Would bigger cams be of any benefit at this point in time?

I've done all the bolt on mods. I'll use the cams in my next motor when this one dies if it's worth getting them now.

Decided on going back to VCT. The bottom half of the rev range is suffering. I don't wanna have to adjust for the bottom end mechanically then fall short up top.

Going in tomorrow to get the factory cam gears thrown back in. TF!!

Thinking of going against the grain on this 1 and getting another tune while its on the dyno (an addition to the tunes I have on the box) using eflex.

Ill buy myself one of those ethanol content checkers too.

Atleast I can switch between 1 tune and the other.

Hopefully I can crack the 400's. :nyyaah:

Cleared the fault last night and have been taking it real easy with about 25min worth of driving since.

Just rechecked the faults and sure enough its back again.

f*cked thing is, is I seriously havent checked my dtc's for f*ckin ages so for all I know its probly always f*ckin been there. ;) (happy face)

I "think" it shouldnt be the camshaft gears because believe me they have been replaced..lol, anything else it could be?

Does anyone know what that fault actually means for the XR6-T? I can find it for other cars but I'm chasing my tail?
