I gather as the car was running like a beast in the mid range until tonight where the loud popping has come and it all of a sudden just drops all power at roughly 3K under load. Def running rich which would of fouled your plugs which would explain the loss of power and hard to start. I would suggest new plugs and a tune. With mine I put the boot in and huge cloud of black smoke, but like some have said better retune as you can wash down the bores when running to rich. Guest XR09 Guests Posted 27/04/12 07:47 PM Share Posted 27/04/12 07:47 PM New plugs is a band aid solutionYou gotta find out what's causing them to foul or your just wasting money. But checking the plugs can tell you a lot.Tan is good.Blk and sooty is rich.Black and wet with fuel is usually electrical

I turned the car off and then left roughly 15min later and the popping started. :-/
