Hi guys, First time poster so be friendly ^_^

Looking at getting my frist car and sadly I am still on P plates(1 year to go). Just wanting to know if the turbo on the xr6 whistles loud enough to hear as I dont want the police to pull me up for having a illegal vehicle. I would take the turbo badges off so it isn't a dead give a way.

cheers Justin

Have a prang and you'll owe at least 5 grand to the other owner's insurance company. That's only a couple of panels!

Be careful its not just the turbo whistle that will give it away. Stock exhaust is different with twin tips, The cops will notice stuff like that.

First time they see you pull away from lights may also be a give away!!!!

And what makes you think as soon as he's off his p's he's going to be sensible? Coming off your p's doesnt mean you turn into a mature driver.. He could be just as reckless off his p's then he is on them.. Its got nothing to do with endangering lifes,, its trying to manipulate the restrictions
