It's very rough. The best way is to monitor your fuel in/out at the pump and how many kms traveled. It's way off in my car with nizpro injectors.

I can fill up my Territory of XT BF II I did have and it'll say 450 for example, then drive 300kms on the hwy and when I stop the range could be like 250. It's only a rough estimate based on the last x kms driven.

Last time it said 45km left it took about 60 litres. I have reset the ECU as I have made changes to the vehicle so will see how the range/economy goes after the reset. yeah ha New Member 23 Member For: 14y 6m 10d Posted 27/04/12 12:33 AM Share Posted 27/04/12 12:33 AM I find my FG XR6T ute (completely stock) to have the biggest range, ie min km to max km, per tank of any car I have owned. Enjoying it a lot around town only around 400km but a recent trip average speed 110, some overtaking, but almost empty road, cruise control most of the trip, unloaded but 2 adults over 800km with at least 75 to go according to both the computer and result when filling. Average consumption on computer fell from 13.2 down to 11.5. That soon changed when back in town.Just goes to show the right foot has more to do with it than anything else. So it's spot on in other words. Would be willing to bet it uses that exact formula in the ECU code, I.e. Current fuel level / Current average L per 100 km * 100. Guest XR09 Guests Posted 27/04/12 09:59 PM Share Posted 27/04/12 09:59 PM I've been 52km past 0 range. Not sure how far it had to go as I used the fual out of Jerries from my bikes to top it to get back to the servo. So couldn't tell accurate literage.
