Update gents

Im now a proud owner of an BF MK11 f6.

Had it fully inspected by state roads and the car is an absolute gem.

86000km, 1 mature owner, full service history, unmodified, sunroof, EGO,

All I can say is I'm blown away and have been driving non stop for 2 days. That's why I haven't posted on the forum.

Apart the from the few scratches and stone chips on the front bar, body and paint is mint as. Interior is like a new car.

Will post pics shortly. Can wait to drive it again in a few hours....

Nice choice with ego. One of my favourite colours for fg mk1. Hides dirt pretty well I've read from owners on here too. Enjoy the new found power :)

im pretty happy with the colour choice, day and night time it looks awsome.

will be keeping it stock for the time being, intend to upgrade CAT, injectors + Tune. (stage1)

first things is first will get it dynod this weekend to see what power it has at the wheels stock. whats a typical figure for BA/BF phoons? 220-230rwkw?

nice work mate need to upload some more pics :) and with the log book probly safer he serviced it himself I would be scared if the car was taken to ford for servicing they suck the balls at servicing.

My fg would go in running fine and come back running like a bag of turds and leaking oil.

thanks again gents..

yep I think it will remain stock until the 90000 service.

so far my my impressions are as follows:

  • the power is unpredictable... in the 6 speed auto when I put my foot down, im never too sure how erratically the car will move. its almost as thought im too scared to put my foot to the floor and am always very tentative...
  • compared to my 6 speed 190rwkw S15 manual.. the back end in that thing would flick out at will but you still had a sense of control. ive only had the F6 for 5 days now so still some getting use to
  • once the boost kicks in, the power is made so effortlessly. I was expecting alot more lag but im pleasantly surprised.

:sungum:

drive in manual maode mate, kickdown in the auto can get dangerous

also to fully feel and get used to the torque = 4th gear at 60k's, ease foot to floor, hold on until you run out of track.
