I also do all my own servicing as we have a full set up workshop at my parents and this way I know that its done and done properly. I have heard many stories of people taking their cars into ford or wherever and they havent done a proper service at all. I got my F6 with a service history and 33,000kms it now has 80,000kms and the book hasn't been filled in since 30,000kms! I wouldnt let a log book deter me from buying one. At the end of the day I have mates who could fill in whatever details I wanted into the log book and im sure plenty of others could do the same.
