If it has work done to it and they say is more than 330rwkw make sure the motor has replaced internals.

Mine had 370rwkw and was stock internally after speaking with many tuners they all said 370 is in the danger zone of the standard internals

Some can be fine and push out over 400 some can kick a rod at 350.

all im saying is anything above 330 is getting close to the internals limits

nah its not. in a stock ba xr bottom end it is!

its all in the tune. keep timing sensible, afr's safe and boost to a reasonable limit (say 17psi) and use good quality fuel (I recommend ethanol e85) and dont do burnouts constantly or bounce off the limiter (not that you need to with the torque these things create) and you'll have many years of hsv/ wrx/ gtr whooping fun.

I think being my first F6, I will go for an unmodified version... even though I know I will most likely start modding myself... but hey that's all part of the fun..

will be looking at a few tomorrow. it seems like it has come down to the following 2:

1) http://www.carsales.....5&sort=default

- $27990

- 86,000 km

- very good condition im assured

2http://www.carsales.....5&sort=default

- $27000

- 69,000 km

what do you guys think? this is my budget... are these machines priced accordingly in your opinions.

ok guys so after having a look at both these vehicles, the 2nd one in cessnock was the better one. - really great condition, eveything is up to scratch on it, ... basically everything was perfect howeever there is one BUT,...... the log book indicated its last service was at 18000km. seller claims the previous owner did all servicing himself. the seller did a full service only 1000km ago, change all filters and oils... my queestion is if I was to get an full inspection by state roads, and the engine inspection shows a perfectly healthy engine with no faults.... should I disregard the lack of content in the log books?

I know it seems like a noob question, but my gut says that this is a bit odd.

coming from a world of Silvias and Skylines, LOG books play no part when it comes to purchasing such a vehicle.... but when it comes to my potential F6 its my no.1 priority...

what are your thoughts guys? give me some insights.... I was this close to putting down a deposit but the empty log books since 18000 km really bugged me even though the guy seems very genuine and honest..
