Hey guys,

I'm after a set of light weight rims, preferably in 17 inch (cheap tyres to burn and race) that won't cost too much. They're only to make do for now as all my rims are buckled :( I'll end up using them for the trak, hence why I was going for a lightweight option. I just got off the phone with Koya inquiring about the Driftek (silver with machined lip) and got quoted $230 for the fronts (17x8) and $250 for the rears (17x9). The lad on the phone assured me they would fit. As I said they're just make do rims for now, until I can get some bling ones for everyday, then these rims will retire to the track.

Basically I'm just curious if anyone else has been thinking along the same lines and if anyone has a another good option for a good price. cheers.

That was my original thinking, but the same style rim is difficult to fit. I know some of the boys on here have done it, but I'm not prepared to go to the same extreme's.

I like the idea of territory rims, but they'd be heavy as f*@k I'd imagine. I do like the rota's, but they're based in WA and frieght would be a bitch from there to Townsville.

I can't remember what the teritory's weigh but if you did want the Rota's there are suppliers on the east coast. Just look on ebay. I'd probably pick the territory's for the cheapest option though.

Just so you know I remeber an issuse with those drift teks running on skylines cracking because of the way the multistud fitment is making them weak I would try a different brand
