Hey Nick, thanks for the reply.
yeah Coffey Ford Dandenong. I have started going to the one in Burwood for my odd spare parts and im much happier with the staff there.

Im not that fussed because a new sensor cost me $10 and took me 30mins to install.
But I would have thought they would have been more understanding. The complaint isnt worth my time...

Thanks mate! see you around smile3.gif

Decided to go for the wheels!

Fun times ahead paying them off now lol.

Took afew snaps of the car at Burwood Coles car park with the new rims.

This was the best one:

Got my hands on some springs a mate also had lying around and installed them.

They are king springs, not sure exactly which model.

Installing them was easy, but needed compressors due to the height of the stock G6E springs.

Heres a pic post work (springs hadnt settled yet):

Also while I was at it, I removed the rear 'G6E' badge.

I think it makes the rear end look alot cleaner:

And one final pic of the car a week later after settling (mind the dirt - melbournes weather sucks):

Get some plasti dip ($50 for 2 cans) and do your stock rims and see how they come out.

And Bellato, yeah I was thinking of plasti dip for the rims, as they need to be completely stripped, slight repairs to be done, repainted, and the white walls redone.

Has anyone have any experience with plasti dip for use on rims? Cheers!

Its a spray on rubber that can be peeled off later

First post back for a while!

Haven't really driven the G6E much because I was recently let off work because the project I was working on fell through.. So I was driving my statesman around that runs on gas.

Decided to give my baby a quick clean :)

As of last week I found myself a new job, which means I can afford to do kms on the falcon again. I'm excited to get it ready for summer !

First thing I want to do is install my old subs. They pump out 2000W peak, along with a Audiobahn amp.

I also was cleaning out the garage and stumbled across my grandfathers old plates from the 60's... They look all tattered and old school. I love the look. I am thinking of getting then registered :)

That's just a quick update to let you guys know I'm still alive haha.

Till next time.
