*searches for vomiting emoticon*

That looks crap, makes the latest HSV range look like Aston Martins. Not pretty in any way, nor is it muscley and tough.

Now the Camaro, that is a nice looking car. Why piss fart around with a fugly Torana when the camaro is in the stable?

Geez the yank Mustang build quality is poor enough. Imagine if it gets built in Aus.It will be the worst built most fault ridden mustang ever in the history of the car. Clunky driveline, misaligned panels, squeaks and rattles, faulty paint, and no after sales service or consdideration with a next to useless warranty.

Sorry Bunna. Didn't mean to draw such a long bow.

But all we have heard from Fraud HQ is a GLOBAL PLATFORM.

We are about the only country who gives a toss between front and rear drive for a family sedan. A lot in Europe actually prefer the FWD.

Ford and GM have been FWD in most family sedans since the late seventies.

So one has to assume and yes I know what that does. That this one design will be a FWD.

Ford don't do one offs. To build a RWD chassis for such a small market as us the the Mustang doesn't flow with their buisness model.

Yes, but the Euro's charge you three times the price to have the same issues.

You got that right aiboart. It's just a shame Ford don't pull their finger out a bit. Comparing the new (2011/12) Camaro, Mustang, and Charger and I have had all 3 for more than a week in the US. Unfortunately the Ford has the worst build quality. They would be doing themselves a favour if they lifted their game a bit.
