I tied the bonnet down and drove to the dealer where they bent the tab that holds the cable on the latch. It worked for a few days then suddenly it opened at 100kph. Took it to another dealer and they replaced the whole latch assembly. Don't let them just bend the tab. Make sure they fit a new latch mechanism. TomT Spooling Member Donating Members 961 Member For: 13y 1m 23d Gender: Male Location: Blue Mountains, NSW Posted 27/04/12 10:23 AM Author Share Posted 27/04/12 10:23 AM Fixed it!For anyone interested or for some useful info if it happens to you,The cable from the pull switch (open bonnet) under the steering wheel was run behind the bracket supporting the top of the intercooler forcing it to enter the latch at an angle therefore not tightening the cable enough.What I did was remove the latch mechanism and had the cable run in front of the bracket so it enters the mech straight.
