I see it this way.

Brand new super hard diff bush = more stress on the cradle and likely to crack

Worn out stock diff bush = Bolt is more likely to snap

noob indeed. Ute's still have a live rear end. Leaf springs alllllllll the way, no cradle, no diff bush

Just remember indicator fluid.

Is that the updated cradle on the right? Because it appears identical to my missus 2011 FG1 cradle. When were the new cradles meant to have been updated?

Just slid under my 09 G6E Turbo with 54,000k's on the clock and all good. 3 diff bushes are fine too, although there seems to be alot of fresh copper coloured grease around the bushes and there are signs of the cradle being out at some stage. Looks like Ford must have changed the bushes before I bought the car.

Although comparing mine to the pic just above, the voids in my bush arent exactly top and bottom, theyre slightly rotated around counter clockwise, Probably done by an apprentice
