just bought a 4 inch turbo intake replacement for the silencer as I want more of a spool sound.

will this make a difference at all or have I wasted money? I know I need more engine mods but its stock as a rock for now anyways

yer the corrogated lookin pipe on the other side of the crossover has to go also for any noticable noise. also the stock filter I believe.

just buy a turbo side intake :spoton:

This is true, Some good kits on eBay lately..

The turbo muffler replacement makes almost no difference IF you have the stock intake.

I had an aftermarket airbox and there was a massive difference then if the muffler was on or off.

I had the Plazmaman kit.

Sounded great, and having the flexibility to put the muffler back on was a bonus.

If you are going to do the battery relo then just wait and buy a proper turbo side kit. It's much cheaper to just buy once..

I wonder if replacing the ribbed pipe between the airbox and the crossover would increase induction noise, and remove air turbulance?

Does anyone make such a replacement pipe?
