They helped me secure a new loan car for the time my diff got "fixed". They were very helpful. But the question remains.. Why did you keep going back to the same place? You should have just punched the service manager in the face and gone somewhere else.

Another dealer could be miles away.

They have a rev limiter, set by the factory to prevent overrevving.

In this case though, I'd be getting onto FPV and have them 'retrieve' the car, flat bed it somewhere else and provide a loan car until its fixed. Which would have him back at square one.

It's their brand being trashed...if dealers carry on like this then their license should be revoked. It disgusts me more that Ford condone the behaviour.

And fpv head office had no further help for me other than arranging the car to go to another dealership.Q ford in springwood is one it's been to a dealer near the valley in Brisbane and is now at beenleigh. I have always brought the car to Brisbane to have it "fixed". Ford told me that they would not provide a car because I live to far away and would put to many k'S on the loan car. Once I took it in for some work and they said 2 week wait to look at it, then allow time to order parts and stuff.I said no worries mate I'll just park it out the front til it's ready ...................... after I get the signwriter up the road to put a nice big lemon on the side.car was fixed that day
zumo Member 14 Member For: 13y 7m 26d Posted 19/04/12 11:23 PM Author Share Posted 19/04/12 11:23 PM Ha I never even got an appology from the guy. All he did to me after the audeal was that I will learn to trust the car over time. Just got off the phone to te dealer in beenleigh an they seem to be very helpfull. Yet no promise on the warranty. If there is no warranty apparently I'm looking at the cost of freight to and from Victoria and the cost of pulling the motor out. So fingers crossed they don't act like c:-(nts! I honestly wish I never bought one.
