Having had an F6 and having also had the unpleasant experience of dealing with warranty work I would strongly advise you call the ford customer relations centre.

They helped me secure a new loan car for the time my diff got "fixed".

They were very helpful.

But the question remains..

Why did you keep going back to the same place?

You should have just punched the service manager in the face and gone somewhere else.

Feel sorry for hope it works out for you, he probably goes back to same dealer as says works Near coal mine, so that could be the only dealer in the area? Another dealer could be miles away.

as others sadi, don't pay a cent for your motor

It is impossible to over rev these engines if it's stock. They have a rev limiter, set by the factory to prevent overrevving.

^^^ saw that too Pazzo. In this case though, I'd be getting onto FPV and have them 'retrieve' the car, flat bed it somewhere else and provide a loan car until its fixed.

Sadly the FPV roadside assist only takes the car to the nearest ford dealer. Which would have him back at square one.

Which dealer? Is it a north/central qld one or hunter valley?

If your motor and tune is stock they have to replace it.

I'd say it's a dealer in a regional location, making the most of mine workers with plenty of spare cash and miles away from any competition so they have a captive market.

In this case it may not be practical for the OP to just pop down the road to another dealer.

As for it not being Ford's problem, what a complete load of crap. It's their brand being trashed...if dealers carry on like this then their license should be revoked. It disgusts me more that Ford condone the behaviour.

The car is currently at the 3rd dealership it has been to. And fpv head office had no further help for me other than arranging the car to go to another dealership.

Q ford in springwood is one it's been to a dealer near the valley in Brisbane and is now at beenleigh. I have always brought the car to Brisbane to have it "fixed". Ford told me that they would not provide a car because I live to far away and would put to many k'S on the loan car.

years ago I had lots of problems with a car that was taking too long to fix under warranty. Once I took it in for some work and they said 2 week wait to look at it, then allow time to order parts and stuff.

I said no worries mate I'll just park it out the front til it's ready ...................... after I get the signwriter up the road to put a nice big lemon on the side.

car was fixed that day

Ha I never even got an appology from the guy. All he did to me after the audeal was that I will learn to trust the car over time. Just got off the phone to te dealer in beenleigh an they seem to be very helpfull. Yet no promise on the warranty. If there is no warranty apparently I'm looking at the cost of freight to and from Victoria and the cost of pulling the motor out. So fingers crossed they don't act like c:-(nts! I honestly wish I never bought one.
