You have a greater range of boost pressures available and can control the characteristics of the boost relative to MAP, not an actuator cycle time percentage, which seems more logical. Also it doesn't need to be re-tuned to change the boost levels. This doesn't seem to throw out the AFR's.I would be careful welding the actuator in-case the diaphragm or spring overheat.
