They are not the best injector but can do the job albeit not to a high standard. I mainly notice it on cold startups being relatively rough and not the best idle. From the factory the EV14 injector has the injector plate laser drilled. Absolutely nothing can replicate this. Once you stuff this up by drilling it you take away the finesse the injector once had. I will be replacing them with some unmolested 550cc EV14s when I have time as I can still get the 370rwkw that I have now and improve the drivability and economy a little. At the moment going to and from City Beach to Greenmount (sort of long stretches and some heavy traffic) I can get 470km but that is really driving carefully. With a Manual Falcon EA I tuned with an EMS8860 I could get 600+ km per tank on the same trip.

Its like something you would do to an old car to get a bit more power(when you were 18). Not a modern performance motor.

I'm pretty happy with this considering I have 25% more power than stock and I use it when I get the urge.

And considering the power, amazing. They suck on tyres. You cant have it all, I suppose.

tuono Member 312 Member For: 14y 2m 26d Posted 16/05/12 10:26 PM Share Posted 16/05/12 10:26 PM I just got 590km out of a tank. Average 10.8k/100. Drving to work, sitting 90-100kph most the time, 80k return trip. I do boot it a fair bit, but hardly any driving in traffic. that's 190km more than my SS Crewman which had 30kw's less grunt. Bloody amazing these force fed motors!!!
