I'm a cheapy fan to I'd be lucky to get 15000km out of a set with 5000km rotating.. Probly coz I'm a c:)t of a driver though.Achilles ATR sport 245/35/19 cost $110 eachpreviously had Nitto NT05's Pirelli Pzero's Re001's maxxis Z1's Dunlop sportmax (jap ones) amongst other tyres I forget now and the Achillies ATR's hook up just as good if not better than all of them, and many skids later have lots of miles in them...I dont know but for cheap crap rubber they arent half bad, will buy again! The fronts are now on the back, but the inside edge is worn and I'll need new tyres sooner rather than later.

I'm not complaining for $50 continentals.

Cousin just bought 40 pairs of 255/45/17 for $500.Is he planning on selling some off? No point letting them sit around going "off". I've got standard rims with 235/45 on at the moment. Would 255 be too wide? I've always thought the narrower the better as they move around less in cornering.Where abouts are you guys at?Cancel that, just saw what you said about comps etc Edited 20/04/12 02:12 AM by Rossnall

Narrower might give you a bit less role but also less traction. I run 255 on the back with my standard rims and they're fine.
