Narrower might give you a bit less role but also less traction. I run 255 on the back with my standard rims and they're fine. Thanks mate, saw that after I posted.I might look at going a bit fatter as I had a decent bit of wheelspin from 2nd to 3rd this morning without really trying. Only had it a week and still getting used to the whole fast auto thing (always had manwells in the past)
Guest XR09 Guests Posted 21/04/12 08:32 PM Share Posted 21/04/12 08:32 PM I seem to get about 8,000 out of the rears and twelve out of the fronts. And cant rotate as they are staggered and of different size.Doesn't seem to matter which brand or type of tyre I put on it.I run 42f 38r psi and check it weekly. It gets an alighnment at least every second service as that's all I get out of a tyre.We do have a few horse and cattle properties. So I actually do have a parivate road to play on...a real one ha ha. And I like to play in the dirt with it. That shreds the tyres quickly with the weight of these cars.Must say that is where the Tiens shine, in the dirt. Incredible difference in traction on dirt compared to stock. Yet they suck in the wet on tar ????
