Just had the 30k service and Ford reckon the tyres need replacing. To be honest I hadnt looked for awhile. I can understand the rears being shagged :burnout: , but the fronts? (not that Id replace just the rears) My first 19's. Is this typical?

Sorry for another tyre thread.

are the fronts all good except for the inside inch or two?

I thought the fronts were the ones that normally wore out quick cause they did most of the work in turning. Other than heavy acceleration, the rears live a much easier life normally.

Yep 30,000 and 1.5 years, spot on. My Expensive Daewoo rears always went first, Expensive Daewoo rotated them at each service and I got 50k on the SS Crewman.

They said the front camber is what does it on the Falcon. Sounds normal then. Anyhoo, new tyres are needed. Mmmmm choices.

do your front suspension, it really is far too soft. Do all the bushes in the front end, you won't believe the difference.

I got a fg ute, although not comparing the same same, my rears need replacing, my fronts still look new.

this is annoying as I should have rotated my tyres at the 15K service which I forgot to do.

but none the less my rears are gone.
