It's not too dark at 5:30am you'd be suprised, but never want to be starting anything on the weekend before 7!

Cheers dude. It's not difficult work per se, just fiddly and annoying when you don't have much room or a hoist! Back kills me leaning over the engine bay for an hour when I do TB clean/torque turbo and manifold bolts. Working in wheel wells is almost as bad, plus there's things to watch out for like falling brakes calipers and dangers from heavy objects like the car, hahaha. I use stands of course, never under there with jack only, that's asking for paraplegia (at best).

Okay guys, this is still on as I'm still gunna be here if anyone needs workshop space and a hand do to whatever they need.

But without Luke and Steve, we will be short on turbo specific knowledge.

We can do it again in a month or so but if anyone turns up tomorrow, they'll still be welcome to do whatever they need to do and use my tools and workshop.

It'll be hot but there'll be plenty to drink and eat.

Dam, sucks about Steve and Luke, just realised I had tomorrow night off so I could have attended :P I can't really think of anything that needs done to my car, unless anyone can treat the rust on my rear quarter panel then respray it :P

Got rust converter Phil? :) Grug you can buy touch up paint from Ford hahaha.

Phil's Panel and Paint

No big loss without me there I only know the basics man and even then I make things harder for myself than I need to (not removing fans to do belt/pulley change). Or problems I have encountered on my own big km car like wheel bearings.

PS so much for being up early. Better go get started...

Thanks to Masda74 and Woody for calling in today.

Masda did some boost solenoid maintenance and cleaned his air filter and Wooody's FG2 ute came in handy to measure up for cutting my new dash mat to suit my ICC mounted gauges.

I stead of being stinking hot, it was pretty comfortable in the garage with all the doors open and I had a great day.

I also got to have a little drive of masda's manual T which was very nice.

I'll make another attempt at putting one of these on and we'll get some more guys around.
