Haart transmissions in Brendale did mine when it had 35kms on it (refer my garage pics), straight off the showroom floor. Just a new bog Ford LSD but rebuilt to get the tollerances right (backlash specs correct etc). Mine has 55k on it now, still perfect, still noiseless, and still cracks off the line with both hoops. I love it every day (in my own special way.....).

Only just picked up a second hand G6ET a few months back, off one careful lady owner. I don't think there is any need for me to be making any mods at this stage, I love the luxury interior, mint sounds for factory, and the fact that a few younger lads have decided to try me on at the lights without noticing the turbo badge, always good fun, not so much fun punching through corners as there is a lot of body roll, but I have never thought about changing to lsd, I have in other vehicles I have owned, but now I am in my mind 30's it is nice to have power to play with, but most of my driving is pretty sedate. And I have noticed the boy's in blue don't even take a second look as I cruise past., which is also a big bonus.

Best thing is with a G6ET you can do all the same power mods as the XR, pop a LSD in, improve the handling, even improve the brakes and the boys in blue still won't even take a secod look.

I still take a quick look back as I leave the G in the car park.

Haha, same. I'm quite protective of my new car. I even went as far as photographing it when I had to park in the city in case a car beside me opened their doors into it...

Love the fact that the cops don't give a toss about you. I had one pay attention though when he looked over at the lights and did a double take I think cause I was young. Damn stereotypes!

I intend to have the true trac fitted in December.

I consider it a must.

Then again I intend to pull a 2 tonne boat out of the water and up a slippery boat ramp. My XR8 manual couldn't do it, plenty of traction, but I just about destroyed the clutch in it.

What realy pissed me off was, as I was destroying my clutch an old HQ Ute (202 3 spped Auto) pulled a boat beside without any problems at all.

The Auto may all the differance.

So if you tow, go the LSD
