Im looking at getting the JBL GTO-804.I cut the white connector thing going to the sub but I checked which one was positive and negative pretty sure the dark blue was positive and light blue was negative and because it was a dual 4 Ohm I bridged the wires and then connected it up to the factory wire so yes I kinda did make something up I also reversed the sub by connecting negative to positive and positive to negative and I reckon that sounds even better. Hope this info helps as im not really good at explaining things lol

Or can it just be dropped in from the top, and wired from underneath once the trims are removed?Just remove the cover on the parcel shelf unbolt the sub and put the new 8” straight in as it fits. To do the wiring you can do it from the boot just remove the trims.
