Ive been looking at gearbox options for my BA XR6T as im currently running a T5 which is rubbish.

Ive come across a quiet reasonably priced TR-3650 and have been doing abit of reading and it appears they arent much weaker than a T56 and obviously alot stronger than my current T5, is this true or am I way off the mark here?

Also will the bellhousing off a T5 bolt up to a TR-3650 and im fairly sure I read something about the input spline being shorter on these gearboxes?

Lastly is the cross member for this gearbox the same as T5?

Anyone with an Xr8 and this gearbox running big numbers opinion would be awesome otherwise any help appreciated
