Use the pure silicon spray though - WD-40 spray stinks and if you use that you'll need to drive around with window down for a couple of weeks Yeah I tried graphite as well but it's a bugger to get in and for me wasn't as effective as silicon spray. Hope it helps

Check the regulator and window runs for binding.Adjust the runs, repair and lubricate the regulator.Lubricate the runs with silicone lubricant.10. Check for frayed insulation where the windowwires may partially ground. Check for looseconnections which will cause high resistance.11. Check motor current draw during operation (placean ammeter in series with the ground lead of thebattery). Motor current draw should not exceed 12amps during normal operation and should exceed20 amps at stall. If the current is above 12 ampsduring operations of the window, readjust theglass mechanism. If the stall current is below 20amperes at stall, look for poor electricalconnections.12. Motor current draw when disconnected from theregulator plate should not exceed 5 amps. I've got a tint but my tint was peeling before I tried this workaround. My tints been peeling on all 5 windows because the previous owner had a crap tint job done - so can't comment authoratively. But as you can see in the vid on the front edge of my drivers side window - the tint is fine. I've done this workaround 3 times now and it does not have affected the tint.
