Was a great day. Those who didn't attend really missed out! Learnt a lot of things to do when I get a T and a couple of things I could do on this car now :)

Thanks to Gary for organising the day and a big thanks to daz for taking the time out of his day to show us how to do some of the maintenance jobs for the turbo. Really appreciate it mate :spoton: will have to start calling you Einstein! Lol

Hi Gals and fellas, well what can I say - after Daz showed me how to do the boost solenoid ON MY CAR - all I can say is farrrrkkkk luvvin it mate !!! Doc Daz is da man

Honestly - he made the day - it was pretty full on fellas who couldn't make it today. Dollies on the ground - both of Paulies rear wheels jacked up and a rather doggy doo aroma on MADTXI's car :roflmbo:

I took a vid of some of the stuff done - but here's what was done on my car:

1. oil overflow small hose snapped off on cross over - stuck back on (it all makes sense now)

2. boost solenoid cleaned out :drivingalong:

3. showed how manifold bolts tighted - they come loose all the time due to the constant heating and cooling :spoton:

4. advice brake fluid and steering fluid levels

5. got that damn drivers side window greased up - so no more embarrassing pulling up the window cos the damn thing is stuck at the traffic lights :roflmbo:

Paulie got his fuel line filter replaced (what was that you say Daz - something about telling Paulie to farrrk off next time he asks :roflmbo: )

turbogilly got a tute on changing his head lights and both Daz and I showed off our beams at dusk!

Tom showed us how to change his wheel for real unfortunately - ah well better find out now than when ya on the freeway and get a flat. Hope ya got back home okay mate on the skinny space saver!

Did get a bit raucous when Daz showed us how to reset the TPS calibration when idle is a bit rough - so easy :spoton:

I didn't see everything that was done so others will tell am sure. But thanks for making it a day those that came and Daz for being the star - am tellin ya - I feel so much more empowered now and luvvin the fact I know more about my car - and it really runs much better now having done the solenoid. So :beerchug: mate.

I got some pics and vids - will post up soon :ielh:
