nathos Member 26 Member For: 15y 2m 26d Posted 13/04/12 04:26 PM Share Posted 13/04/12 04:26 PM Hey guys I have a bf2 xrt and the previous owner has fitted a k&n pod filter where the airbox originally sits.The airbox has been thrown out and all snorkels are also missing.The pod is secured so passed a rwc, however after doing research on here people's opinion are against pod filters that are unboxed.I'm not too worried about power gains, but is it safe to run with a pod filter with no box and no direct air intake?Is it worth the money to buy a standard airbox/typhoon box? Spray some filter spray on the sock for that added protection when driving it on the street.
