My car has 260rwkw and just about spins to the end of 2nd gear atm. I'm interested in the Toyo R1R's but they have a 140 treadwear rating.Has anyone used these before? What mileage did you get out of them compared with other tyres you've had?Cheers! Pm taleb tyres for a price, they have a thread here. Cheapest price anyone has found. People have recommended others but they can't come close to talebs price. I would stay away from a tyre with very low tread wear rating unless you intend using them as a set for weekends only. Additionally, stay away from Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE001. I was not impressed with their wear considering the car they were on was driven like Ms Daisy. The Nitto NT05 is even stickier but at your power level I wouldn't think you'd need the NT05. Invos are pretty good value. Also consider Kumho KU31s, these are a bit cheaper again, have 320 treadwear rating and manage to hold my power well when new (317rwkw ZF auto). I've also found the Invos maintain grip levels very well but the KU31s lose grip faster as the tread wears down. KU31s have been reported to be noisier but I can't really tell much and have used both.
