Heres a few tranny cooler pics from today, made the brackets at work and got some nice thick foam tape on the back of the legs so it doesnt rub and the rest just followed the instructions and finally got rid of the exchanger.

Also went to service the tranny just because I can, and made the amateur mistake of ordering a plastic pan instead of just a filter for the metal pan...then of course the original bolts arent long enough for the plastic one and I damaged the gasket for the metal pan haha the day started off so well with the tranny cooler. So on monday I will go buy bolts and washers for the plasic pan then next service I will go back to the metal one with a new filter.

Nice but y didn't you stick the trans cooler between the intercooler and radiator? Not as much room on fgs, As the trans cooler will effect flow for the intercooler, not saying it won't be vice versa but personally I have set mine up between the 2, and I think it will have adverse effect on the intercoolercompared to running it between the 2.

There isn't any room between the cooler and radiator I did some reading and the power decrease with the tranny cooler infront is very minimal so meh, I did look at punching foggys but didn't really like that idea.

I used an eBay kit for the fg 6sp auto, a few others have used on here, it has a pwr core and has everything you need. But if you have a bigger intercooler which most do, the brackets they provide are good for nothing and you have to make your own which wasn't too hard.

Finished servicing zf this morning, heres the rig I used to pump fluid in, when I used to do my bf sh*t got hectic and oil everywhere. Since im using the most expencive sh*t on the market I thought I better make something to minimise spills. I made this up and spilt next to none doing my fg this time round. Drum pump with clear hose and a little ball valve and a 18x1.5mm (I Think?) to screw into the fill hole.
