I'm looking at doing my rims black which are the 19" FG Luxury. Has any body done these and if so did you just coat from the front face or did you coat from the rear also (inside the rim).

You're best off just giving it a go mate! See what you like more.

I just coated mine from the front, but did a little on the back (around the holes and back of the rim) and they look perfect! I did 5 coats, and couldn't be happier!

Had a go spraying some on my spare wheel as a practice and I think it turned out real well so will be plasti dipping all my twisties black on the weekend. Awesome gear to use.

I think its basically been answered but wanna check first you guys are leaving your wheels on when your spraying them? does it matter about over spray on the brakes??

I've done once on and once off. Take them off! makes life much easier and less issues with overspray.

I taped everything up but still managed to overspray onto the hub and brakes and it comes off if you rub at it but given the shape of the caliper its a pita to get off

So yes wheels off

On YouTube they plastic bag over the hub and caliper by just poking it through lol seems like a good idea plasti dip not so good to remove in my opinion
