Plasti dipped my twisties black on the phoon today.

I actually found it better to do with the wheels still on the car and just cover up everything in there.

This is how it turned out.

I think it looks pretty cool

does anyone know if you can get a plastidip almost the same colour as the standard ford silver rim colour, like lux packs and so on

chasing advise from anyone who has done their "XR6" badges on the skirt/door

have done my rear badges with ease, but every time I try to do the "XR6" on the side, peeling back the excess doesn't tear like it should, and it also peels off of the badge.

I suspect this is because the badges are much slimmer, and there isn't such an obvious line for it to break on.

tips or advice on how to do these?

I would just peel it off and start again! Just do really really light coats (should take 5 or 6 coats before it even covers it completely). Do 15-20 coats like that and should cut itself properly

Nope! You can get grey which is darker but that's it. Have a look on the main plastidip website, they have all the colours on there

I've got the spray.

How would I leave a "clean edge"?

I've seen how on sharp corners etc it pretty much cuts itself but what about when there's no edge like this?
