I bought 2 cans for my wheels (standard BF 17s) as I thought that'd be heaps. I did a small test on a bin at work today and did 2 light coats and it was pretty thin. Sort of peeled like the vids but you could tell it needed more coats to have some strength and be able to do that full peel.By the way, the F6 looks awesome. Not normally a fan of that style wheel, but suit the car really well, and love the yellow badge/sticker! Spoiler painted or plasti dipped? spoiler is painted, wanted to try something a bit different to make the F6 stand out from the XR6's so did the front as well, its only paint so I can change it back later if I want. Did you only get 3 coats from the 3 cans on the wheels used about 2 1/2 cans for the wheels depends how thick you want it.......was just a trial to start with but its lasting pretty good

Bellato Donating Members 2,713 Member For: 14y 26d Posted 26/07/12 11:56 AM Share Posted 26/07/12 11:56 AM It took a while but here's my rims plastidipped! I used 2 cans but another can wouldn't have hurt! Only problems, where there a gap between the lip and the 5 main spokes It started to create a bubble so had to cut it out and refill the gap (hardly noticeable). Other big problem is I have really tight holes where the wheel nuts are so in putting the wheels on (and off again for other reasons) its started to peel up a little. Other than that so far so good, can give an update in a few months to say how its holding up. Personally I think its a good way to go, Get a nice set of machined finish rims and just change it as you like (or get bored lol)Hopefully this can inspire a few ppl to give it a go on some bigger/nicer wheels
