Ive just had the transmission serviced and tuned and it still does it, ive also got a surge tank so I dont think its got to do with fuel as it also does it with a full tank... It happens more often in 'D' and 'Perf' mode but still happens in manual mode occassionaly mainly 3rd to 4th and under full acceleration.

Its starting to do my head in lol. Noob question for you Vevapower, what are the frictions? =/

Thanks heaps for the advice guys.

Cheers

Located in melb old_mate and tune was done by bluepower.

Thanks Vevapower, I will look further into the friction plates in the morning.. Question is should I go back to bluepower and get them to suss it out or a transmisson joint?

Does it flare a little into 4th under normal driving conditons?

It will sound like it revs a little as it changes up from 3rd to 4th!

the problem was a blocked fuel filter! as soon as I changed the fuel filter the thing changed perfectly!! was the best 15bucks ever spent

the reccomended change was at 90k and I had done the oil service myself and was at 95kms the fuel filter was blocked

I haven't had any issues with my ZF yet, but it did this exact thing the other day which I thought was a little odd.

Yeah it does flare in to fourth a little bit, never really thought much of it though..

Before I do anything I'm now gonna change the fuel filter only because the symptoms that you described nathos are exactly whats happening to mine but with my luck I doubt it'll be that easy of a fix.

I've got squeaky front shocks atm so I also might change the fuel filter and see if it fixes them.

Problems are perceived differently by one person to the next. No issue can be accurately diagnosed over the internet. The people who have been successful are only speculating.

Totally agree with you paulie but for the sake of changing a fuel filter for $30 just in case is not too bad, it probably needs changing anyway!

Im pretty sure it is something to do with the tranny so I'm thinking Vevapower is on the money.
