And if it does somehow work won't that just devalue the falcon even more as more and more of these 4 bangers flood the market as fleet vehicles/taxis/retirees

The Late model camira should be the cheapest secondhand car going if larger sales volume means lower resale as you're suggesting.

Nah...just a lot of haters lol

Cant remember if I bagged it or not.

Dillz their market is the company car. Not all camries are V6's. The Crommidore fuel debarkle I think pushed them too the four. And from what I have heard the yanks are love hating it too.

For the family man who wants a patriotic company car this one will slide in. And I am betting only a born everyday fool will pay full weight for one. Fleet discounts and all.

Bet the V6 we inevitably get will be publicly stoned when it arrives. And the I6 moved to a deity state of engineering within 12 months ha ha. And so it should.

Best M3 the 6

Best Bently...the speed 6...... A 1924 - 30 4.5lt turbo strait 6...1924 ha ha

That asking price can't be helping either, I know no one pays anything close to 38 000 for an XT but when your general clueless public looks for a car and checks out the prices online/broshures or what not and see 38 000 they will not even go near it if they are planing to spend around 30. And let's be honest your mazda3, corolla, camry buyers don't know you can get an XT for closer to 30 then the 38 that it's advertised at.

Everyone expects to knock off a bit of the price but not that much.

ford should have made the back doors smaller and shurnk the car kept the 6cyls but reduced to 2.2-2.6 kept the large turbo from the fg and tuned it up deasontly than it would have had a chance if they could get the weigh down to about 1.5t and get power up to about 240kw theyd have somthing to go againdt the mazdas

So what your after is an EcoBoost Mondeo then?

It's about 1.5t, shorter than a Falcon and with a smaller engine.

You can't just 'shrink' an engine. To make a 2.4L 6cyl would be basically making a new engine...
