It's clearly aimed at social media...can't imagine it being broadcast on prime time TV.

I just thought it was brilliant that it plays on the insecurities shown by the flat-earthers, a few of which have appeared in this thread!

That's what I don't get, who's there target market?

The people that buy falcons are the ones that want a big car without a dicky little engine aka camry, magna, accord

Dunno...perhaps existing customers looking to changeover and pay the same for a vehicle the same size with the same safety rating and level of comfort that's more economical and has more low-down torque? Why is that so hard to understand?

I get that you guys don't approve and wouldn't buy one yourself, but what makes you think everyone else is so ignorant?

Why? When you can buy a better built, cheaper Japanese car?

Most Jap cars have better warranties and resale too.

They're trying to enter a market that is dominated by much better more refined cars.

And if it does somehow work won't that just devalue the falcon even more as more and more of these 4 bangers flood the market as fleet vehicles/taxis/retirees

Why not just call them a mondeo and be done with it.

Further more Ford do so much stupid sh*t these days I just automatically think anything they do is rubbish until proven otherwise. It's easier that way.

Sorry...but can you point me in the direction of something that has the same power, torque, size/comfort, level of safety and build quality (or better as you claim)?

The point I'm trying to get through is that if you already have an XT and are looking to changeover, it provides an excellent option. As I stated previously I really doubt it will do much to boost the sales numbers, but it will most definitely help to at least retain them. Do you not agree with that?

And the other challenge I have for you guys, please find me a review that hates it or echoes your sentiments. As all the experts that have driven it and compared it to the I6 and other vehicles seem to think it's anything between good and brilliant.

I've skimmed through a few and can't find any so would be keen to see if your relentless negativity is justified.

No your right there Tab, they have said they do like it. But would they buy 1? That's the bit they have not said. Well not on the Victorian papers anyway. But that's also saying, I Iike a movie but 1000000 Australians might not.
