I am woundering if you can fit 22's under an xr6T legally I've been told by 2 tyer company that's it's fine but I was told at Bobjane that they will fit but they don't make a tyer that's load and speed safety rated for that profile of tyer does anyone no what tue go is cos I'm keen on a set of 22's but don't wanna get them if I can't be insured

I'm pretty sure you can only go 2 inches larger than the largest tyre option shown on the tyre pressure sticker inside the door....well that's what I've been told. And also only 1 inch wider...not sure if that's the case.

If you only go 2 inches larger with a lower profile tyre the rolling diameter is almost the same as a stock wheel, I think that's the theory behind it.

Doesn't matter where you go, someone always says something different. Surely 20's and lowering would give you the look your after, and it's a safer bet if your worried about insurance etc
