daleforcd6 Member 3 Member For: 12y 4m 26d Posted 12/11/12 07:38 AM Share Posted 12/11/12 07:38 AM hey I have a ba xr6 turbo running a f6 typhoon block currently make about 330rwkw on a stage 3 aps kit plus turbo actuator up grade and a short straight pipe off the turbo this is all going through a t56. I am looking to up the boost to an 18psi tune from my 14psi one I have now. I was wondering if loosing one off my aps mufflers and getting pipes bent up will help me achieve more power ? cheers

Makes a big difference to spool up as opposed to just making it louder and not achieving much.

Change that first.

I plan on putting a 4" dump pipe on before the dyno because for the price why not do it. was just wondering if the mufflers had any restrictions through themthanks

Do the dump, try it out and let us know because I miss the sound of my APS exhaust.
