Think he means the heatsoak the monza will suffer after a lap or so? You'll probably be reduced to n/a power as it will get that hot.

Anyway a slightly modded evo 4 will probably smash ya's both haha

Yes the falcon turbos are best bang for you buck cars these days.

His correction was there. Its the monza cooler. It kills power with heat soak. Little bit of reading on here and you could've spent a little more for a better cooler that'll help out better with heat. He's just giving the truth in his opinion. Relax :spoton:

yeh fair enough just got home n had a shocker at work my bad just read it the wrong way , n for the record I don't earn much n got the monza cooler + exhaust for $500 so still love what that has done , n im very much a noob and never done track work so always up for being corrected just prefer it without peep making me feel 3ft tall . my experience so far is on 1/8th drag track at wilby where I do as many runs as the next and power hasn't changed but yes it is on n off , engine soak has also come into play before cooler soak on the 3 different dyno's ive had the car on so as yet the monza is doin my requirements but obviously it no good for track . so wud 1st rant I made be correct then if moza was upgradded lol

I spent very little on my car mate. $800 for second hand xforce exhaust, $200 second hand 60lb injectors, $400 nizpro cooler and $1000 for airbox plenum and piping kit. Yeah it only made 320kw but it's on low boost and will keep that power much longer and safer. Wasn't trying to make you look like a dick mate was just pointing out the hsv isn't as bad as everyone on here is saying.

Can I ask what power a VE GTS 2011 6.2L could make with a big mouth intake and maybe some other external stuff? Cars list value was 114k last year.

Reason I'm asking is a guy down the road says he is making 385rwkw. It was tuned from a place I know and they are good but........

^ Agree with pazzo.. While I like the Big V8's to make 385kw it needs either a supercharger or turbo kit..

I have heard the claim made by a few people that they have 385 'Engine' Kilowatts after Heads, Cam, Intake, Exhaust and Tune.. That's like a T making 325rwkw and putting a thread in the 400 club because you made it with 'Engine' kilowatts.

I'll say 300rkw.1/4 stuff this car isn't for you. For the average blow Joe good overall car that you can track as is.
