Well it's up and running couple of little issues that need to be addressed and the stall is simply too high to get any dyno reading. All I know is its running at 27psi using ethanol and after we fix the couple of minor things will put it up too 35 psi. There is no back pressure or flow restrictions at all at 27 psi. Sounds very strong on the dyno. It jumps straight up too 6200rpm which is where the stall is at. It will be more suited to the de stroker motor which will be going in, in the near future anyway. The 4.0 ltr is holding up better than I Thought so up the boost goes. Lol. To put power in prospective it's running ID2000 at 84 percent duty cycle @ 72 psi of fuel pressure

So how do you get a tune into the car if you can't run it up on the dyno ?

The v8 boys that run huge stalls tend to buy a 2800 stall to get there base tune down with full converter pressure so that the motor really loads up then the rest of tune is from getting runs on the board.

Converter can't lock up on a dyno. It needs the weight of the car to get it to lock up properly. So it's all over the place. The true and only indication is the track mph. Can't be cheated. For instance rob campisi mustang showed around 1250 hp on a dyno but ran 5.9 @260mph. So does robs car make 1250 @ wheels. No chance. You wouldn't get much change from 4-5000hp from that engine

We will data log it at the track., at the moment it's a very safe tune. No chance of detonation. Fine tuning at the track is easy once we have the basic settings like we have

well done mate I must also say campisi car would weigh next to f all and is more aero than a bullet which would help mph I think if you can get it hook up you will get the record im cheering for you to take it, your fuel setup is mint and I plan to do something similar on a smaller scale.

when things get tuff just keep pushing through it persistance pays off if you dont go broke first lol

excuse the spelling no spell check@work

Relentless what fuel system do u want. I have a brand new twin Bosch 044 setup polished surge tank. Lightweight braided lines and fittings. I changed paths during and won't need them any longer. To be honest the record is not my goals anymore. They are to go alot quicker. Once the billet destroked engine goes in a new turbo and gates will also. If your interested in a gtx4202. That will need to go. It's done 4 Dyno runs

The point with rob s car is its making upwards of 4000 hp and indicates nothing like that. Anyway only way to find out and that's run in :-)
