So it turns out. Ihe was talking about the fg regulary when we spoke but stupid me assumed it was a sedan. When I found out it was a ute, I'm thiinking damn. Ha ha. It will be a quick car no doubt about it. In fact it will be fully stripped and used for drags and will be a wrapon. It won't run 4 link but it will have a very well set up rear end. I still want to drive mine on the street. So interior, dash etc will remain. He will just de-tune mine so his is quicker!! Ha ha ha. Ive learnt over the years with performance cars. Do it right the first time because I assure u. U will redo it again at later date the right way. Generally costing more in the process.

Looks like you,ll beat me to the strip I'm still waiting for my engine!!Looking forward to the strip numbers as this is the complete package in ute form!!Thanks. The car doesn't go yet. Lol. I've put off the bottom end until everything else is sorted and well. It's still a built bottom end but the real engine used will be full house and something special. I'll also go 12-13' wide slicks and converter redone to suit motor when it's done . So it will be far from from it's potential until that is done. I will start the engine as soon as the car is running.

Are they 8 or 10"s? What brakes?Have a pic of the inside of the tub?I will get a picture. I still need to get the tub liner plastic welded in. They were cut for mini tubs and I was nt going to run liner. But decided to run it. Looks a lot neater that way considering the car is 2003 with 50,000 on it. I don't want to totally destroy it :-)

May need to change turbo but with this new engine it will breathe very well therefore it will be able to surpass the turbo,s rating of 1200hp. I will also use a fairly big shot of nitrous. Ive know dion over 10 years he def will tune it to the max. I used to buy Suzuki swift gti parts off him when he owned a wreckers. I'm also over cutting and drilling to get weight out so dion is going to have some fun with a plasma cutter. :-). I so need one. Lol. Mine is going to be street driven. Not sure how streetable it will be with full spool and no bushes in rear and a 5000rpm stall. Lol
