I want to make a new benchmark for these utes, pretty confident I will. lol its called persistance. ha haSounds like it's hardly a traditional ute anymore. Bit unfair to claim ute record when you're working outside the restrictions of the chassis, body, engine and driveline IMO.It's a bit like saying the door slammer with a Late model camira shell on it is the fastest Late model camira sedan. I wish you all the best in your pursuit and I've got no doubt you'll cross the line faster than the other utes. I just don't think it's a fair comparison.

And the chassis has been modified to fit the wheels. It will still run a 10.5 Inch wide tyre so I don't see how it would be an advantage unless I ran a much wider tyres. The leaf spring and body are designed to tow loads in the falcon and nothing else. The cars others describe are sporty cars to start with

If you want to go quick at the track, you build the car for the track. Other than that sweet FA of the top 25 falcons retain the factory box. A car in the states does Bla Bla Bla with leafs.. That's a drag car with a FL of research. No lead sprung Utes have gone quicker than 10s here,So let's compare apples to apples.

Not much you can do body wise to a ute, mini tubs? Tray would achieve the same. And it doesn't matter how much room there is, it may only be to fit a 10" slick with clearance. Driveline I covered by saying everyone has to upgrade it. Engine.. Well your not going to set the record in a stock ute are you?It appears you were just taking the opportunity to be a dick.
