That is the filter I have. Do you give the car a hard time everytime you drive it since you are using w50 oil?

Standard boost gap (XR6T) is 1.1 mm. Now many people running higher boost will reduce the gap right down to .7 to stop boost pressure blowing out spark. But using the 1.1 gap will provide for best fuel economy. When gapping irdium plugs make sure that you are careful with the electrode, as it can break or fracture, so only adjust the top section carefully with small, preferably needle nose pliers. I use the daughters pliers that she got with her hair extensions . Buy yourself a set of feeler gauges as they will come in handy down the track, because really, to stuff this up you would need copious amounts of alcohol.Cheers

Impellor Member 835 Member For: 14y 7m 2d Gender: Not Telling Posted 06/04/12 08:58 AM Share Posted 06/04/12 08:58 AM Ratters raised a very good point here. The heat range is crucial. What I would recommend is that if you can't find the info on specs, I would pull one plug out and size it up. You'll see when you pull it out whether it is the same type of plug. But what is absolutely imperative is the heat range. The plug will have a number usually from 9 down. Now the plug you pull out will have a number. But if your champion plug has a higher number than the one already in the car DO NOT USE IT. Personally I think that the guy you bought the car off probably had some smarts when he got the plugs because he was aware of the gapping process. Another thing is when removing your plugs (there should be a vid somewhere that DAZZLER has done on the forum) use a piece of garden hose to remove the 6th one. If you like, open one of the champion plugs and get the number off it and post. I'll see what I can find, Cheers
