Normal foam may not do much for noise control, I would build a complete enclosure and then use the dynomat on all 5 sides except for the front. No quieter but at least it's cool!May try a plastic pipe from bunnings and fudge up some BOV return and vacuum connections. Any ideas? If I take off the factory pipe and replace it with a straight through the intake is loud replace the muffler back and it is quiet even with my pod filter.. No measurable difference on my accelerometer. Seen an 11.2 1/4 with a small turbo FG on 98, I did an 11.6 with factory intake, not even xr8 snorkel, the stock one.Much nicer driving experience with factory parts, no wank factor thoughTurboside and no BOV was cool for a while, but then when I realized its not a yellow Late model camira and I'm not a douchebag I went back to stock Edited 07/05/12 09:11 AM by MexicanBatman Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/79594-how-to-make-turbo-side-podairbox-quieter/page/5/#findComment-1233224 Share on other sites
